Our school is one of the pioneering secondary schools in Beijing to have obtained the eligibility to admit international students. Since 1996, we have hosted a diverse cohort of foreign secondary school students from countries including South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and Kazakhstan, totaling almost a thousand in number. Apart from accommodating long-term exchange students, we have also extended our hospitality to short-term study programs for groups hailing from countries such as South Korea, Japan, France, Thailand, the Philippines, and Australia, who come to immerse themselves in the Chinese language and culture.

Our International Department boasts an excellent team of teachers, including 6 senior teachers who have dedicated years of experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, English, Chinese language and literature, and mathematics. Among them, we have 1 certified international Chinese language teacher examiner, 1 Master's degree holder in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, 1 Master's degree holder in Applied Linguistics who has returned from studying in the UK, and 4 teachers who were selected and sent by the Confucius Institute Headquarters to teach Chinese in Germany. In various competitions and assessments held for high-quality Chinese language classes and academic papers in Beijing's primary and secondary schools, our Chinese language teachers have consistently received first prizes. Furthermore, our subject teachers in the International Department are all outstanding educators with extensive experience in teaching international students.

Under the guidance of our teachers, from 1999 to 2023, over 80% of our graduates have been admitted to renowned Chinese universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Beihang University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and University of International Business and Economics, as well as top institutions in both Eastern and Western countries. Among them, a cumulative total of 55 foreign students, accounting for approximately 40% of our foreign high school graduates, have been admitted to Peking University and Tsinghua University. We have had numerous graduates who achieved outstanding results in the College Entrance Examination (gaokao). In 2020, our American student, Liu Xiangting, was admitted to Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, and Tufts University with excellent scores. In 2021, our American student, Cao Xiaowang, was admitted to Tsinghua University. In 2022, our Korean student, Kim Wonsong, was admitted to Tsinghua University. In 2023, our Korean student, Luo Gaoen, and our New Zealand student, Liu Boning, were admitted to Peking University, while our Indonesian student, Lin Jiamin, was admitted to Tsinghua University.
