This school attaches significance to the teacher fostering and maintains a high-level lineup of teachers. Since 1956 thirteen teachers in this school have been titled special-graded teachers. Since the 1980s six teachers have been titled outstanding talents of the Xuanwu District, ten titled teaching pioneers of Beijing middle-aged & young teachers and elitist teachers, twelve titled members of the first Xuanwu
renowned teachers' lecturing group, twenty-three titled teaching pioneers of the Xuanwu District, twenty-six titled elitist teachers of Xuanwu District and five titled promising stars of Xuanwu young teachers. This school has now 110 full-time teachers, and there are 18 teachers who have received master's degrees or are still at study for their master's degrees. There have been 43 middle-aged and young teachers who have finished their postgraduated courses in BNU. Director of English Teaching Division Zhang Mingzhu was once granted the national May 1st Medal and titled excellent Party member in Beijing's educational system. Twelve teachers in charge of classes have been awarded Zijin Cups. Since 1990 forty teachers were titled excellent teachers or educators in the Xuanwu District or at higher levels. Since 1989 seventeen teachers have won prized in teaching evaluation in or above the level of Beijing. All those teachers are strict in their work and respected by the students.
