Our School’s Aerobics Team Invited to Participate in the “China–US Friendship, Youth Together” Cultural and Sports Exchange Event

On the afternoon of September 24, the “China–US Friendship, Youth Together” Cultural and Sports Exchange Event for Chinese and American Teenagers was held at Beijing No. 8 High School. Madam Peng Liyuan, wife of President Xi Jinping, attended the event. Our school’s aerobics team was invited to take part and delivered a spectacular joint performance with American students.

In mid-September, upon receiving the performance invitation, our school’s aerobics team dedicated themselves fully to rehearsals, making use of their weekends to refine every detail of the routine. Under the meticulous guidance of Teacher Hua Feiyang, the team collaborated closely with their American counterparts to prepare for the performance. Although they spoke different languages, their shared enthusiasm and common goal brought them together.

To ensure the best possible stage presentation, our students patiently offered one-on-one coaching to the American students, helping them master each movement. Through repeated rehearsals and coordination, the students from both countries developed deeper understanding and rapport, with noticeable improvement in both technical precision and performance quality. In just two days, a genuine bridge of friendship was built between the Chinese and American participants.

Accompanied by vibrant and uplifting music, the students from both countries performed dynamic routines—spinning, leaping, extending their arms, and kicking in perfect sync. Each move reflected harmony between strength and grace, power and elegance, showcasing the vigor and charm of youth. When the performance concluded, the audience burst into enthusiastic applause.

Through this event, members of our school’s aerobics team used passion and sincerity to build a bridge of friendship between Chinese and American youth. Their spirited and captivating performance not only earned waves of applause but also vividly presented to the world the vitality, confidence, and youthful energy of Chinese students.
