The principal of Texas International Leadership School, a partner of the Sino-US cooperative high school curriculum program, visited our school

On November 19, the High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University welcomed Mr. Edward G. Conger, Principal of Texas International Leadership School, and Ms. Yang Yang, a member of the school’s Board of Directors. The visit marked another important exchange between the two schools under the Sino–US Cooperative High School Curriculum Program (AP Program).

Principal Conger and Ms. Yang toured the school’s cultural facilities and once again expressed their strong interest in, and high appreciation for, the campus environment and rich cultural heritage of the High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University.

Principal Wang Liping, together with teachers from the Exchange Center, warmly welcomed Principal Conger and his delegation. Principal Conger spoke highly of the school’s educational philosophy, abundant resources, and international outlook—particularly commending its outstanding achievements in cultivating students’ academic competence and well-rounded development.

He noted that, in the face of today’s challenges and opportunities in international education, the two schools should strengthen collaboration, explore deeper modes of partnership, and open new pathways for global educational exchange.

Principal Wang responded that the High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University has always been dedicated to expanding international cooperation, hoping to create broader learning and growth opportunities for students through in-depth exchanges with American partner schools.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in constructive discussions on potential areas of cooperation, including joint educational programs, teaching research, resource sharing, and mutual credit recognition. They reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing collaborative projects and contributing to the future development of education.
